A few of my references...ADULLACT
Probably my best reference is ADULLACT, a French non-profit providing help to administrations using and/or developing Free Software. This help includes the Atelier ("Workshop"), a Gforge instance customised and adapted for their precise needs, for which I handle all technical aspects (development, migration, updates, system administration, support and training) so that the actual usage is as smooth as possible.
Sagem
Sagem had special needs concerning its collaborative development environment. Gforge would almost fit the bill, but several adaptations were required, such as an integration with Bugzilla and Mediawiki, Kerberos-based authentication, and a workflow involving several distinct Gforge instances. All that required patching and adapting, which I did in collaboration with Linagora.
Pythagore FD
Pythagore FD is a company specialising in technical training, in domains such as Unix, Linux and development environments. The training sessions are organised by Pythagore, the teacher being either from the company or a external professional. As such, I animated several sessions for various clients.
Wallix
I also gave Gforge training sessions for a large client of Wallix (an If Research Group company). Separate sessions focused on the users and the administrators.
GForge Group
The GForge Group needed some specific plugins: support for source configuration management systems other than CVS, and authentication against an external LDAP directory. I developped these plugins, which have been released to the public under the GNU GPL and are now part of Gforge.
France télécom
My last employer was known by many names during the time I was employed there due to a string of mergers, but is nowadays most widely known as Wanadoo or Orange, part of the France télécom group. My job there as a software engineer/lead developer included the management and administration of the colloborative development infrastructure. It started as a simple bug tracker and CVS repository, then a Sourceforge instance, and ended up as three separate Gforge instances. I also provided support and training for my co-workers. I'm currently on extended leave since June, 2006.
Alioth
I also maintain Alioth, yet another Gforge instance, slightly modified to fit the needs of the Debian project (of which I've been a member since 2001). Here again, my responsibilities include administration, development for specifics, support, maintenance, etc.
Éditions Eyrolles
On a different subject, I also work with the French Eyrolles publishing company on computing books. This includes technical proofreading, for which my references are Raphaël Hertzog's Cahier de l'admin Debian and Lionel Dricot's Ubuntu efficace (which serves as a second edition for Ubuntu, une distribution Linux facile à utiliser). Also, Raphaël Hertzog and I translated Martin Krafft's The Debian System — Concepts and Techniques book into Debian, Administration et configuration avancée. More recently, I coauthored (with Raphaël Hertzog again) Debian Etch, an updated, extended and partially rewritten third edition of the "Cahier de l'admin".
